Canadian Spinal Research Organization

The CSRO is dedicated to the improvement of the physical quality of life for persons with a spinal cord injury and those with related neurological deficits, through targeted medical and scientific research. The CSRO is also committed to the reduction of spinal cord injuries through awareness programs for the general public and prevention programs of targeted groups.

This is an on-line, interactive bulletin board that provides the latest information on spinal cord injury care, caregiving, cure, funding, life, pain, sex, related links, research, and trials. You must register to post messages. Dr. Wise Young of the W.M. Keck Center for Collaborative Neuroscience at Rutgers University moderates the bulletin board.
Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation (CRPF)

CRPF encourages and supports research to develop effective treatments and a cure for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury and other central nervous system disorders. The Foundation evaluates and selects these research programs using councils of internationally renowned neuroscientists and clinicians. The Foundation also allocates a portion of its resources to grants that improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.
